研究简介

        噬菌体被认为是自然界中数量最多的一类病毒,具有杀灭细菌的能力。本课题组采用冷冻电镜技术、生物化学与分子生物学以及细胞生物学等多种方法,深入探索噬菌体的组装过程及其与宿主之间的相互作用机制。基于对噬菌体组装及宿主相互作用机制的深入理解,我们进一步进行以下基于噬菌体的应用探索:1)通过对天然噬菌体的改造与优化,开发新型噬菌体生物制剂,以应对耐药菌感染,作为抗生素的替代选择;2)对噬菌体病毒衣壳进行改造,使其能够容纳外源基因,从而开发可用于肿瘤治疗及核酸疫苗等领域的基因递送载体;3)改造具有抗菌潜力的噬菌体编码蛋白,以研发新型抗菌药物。已在国际知名期刊上发表多篇SCI文章,包括《Science》、《Nature Structural & Molecular Biology》、《Nature Communications》、《PNAS》、《eLife》、《Structure》、《Journal of Molecular Biology》、《Journal of Virology》等。
